श्रीरामवृत्तान्तमशेषमादितो वसिष्ठवाक्यानुगतं निरूपितम् ।
धिया विचार्यानु परामृश प्रभो मयापि तादृक्कथनीयमत्र ते ॥ १० ॥

Śrī Vālmīki said: 'The entire narrative of Śrī Rāma, from the very beginning, which follows the teachings of Vasiṣṭha, has been described. O Lord, having thoroughly considered it with your intellect, reflect upon it well. I also have something similar to relate to you here.'
