घ्राणकोशं विवेशान्तर्वंशरन्ध्रमिवानिलः ।
स्ववासनाशतान्यन्तर्दधदब्धिर्मणीनिव ॥ ३६ ॥

36. The vital air (anila) entered the cavity of the nostrils, just as wind enters a hole in a bamboo reed, carrying within it hundreds of its own latent impressions (vāsanā), much like an ocean (abdhi) holds jewels within itself.

36. הנשמה נכנסה לתוך נחיריו כפי שהרוח נכנסת לנקבי החליל, כשהיא נושאת בתוכה מאות מרשמי עברה (וָאסָנוֹת), כפי שהאוקיינוס נושא בתוכו אבנים יקרות.
