For one whose understanding (dṛṣṭi) is deeply rooted in the subtle (ātivāhika) experience, the gross material existence (ādhibhautika) recedes. For such a wise person (budha), it is like an autumn cloud in the sky, which, though seen, holds no substantial reality.
