योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-58, verse-1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एतस्मिन्नन्तरे ज्ञप्तिर्जीवं वैदूरथं पुनः ।
संकल्पेन रुरोधाशु मनसः स्पन्दनं यथा ॥ १ ॥
śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca ,
etasminnantare jñaptirjīvaṃ vaidūrathaṃ punaḥ ,
saṃkalpena rurodhāśu manasaḥ spandanaṃ yathā 1
1. śrīvasiṣṭhaḥ uvāca etasmin antare jñaptiḥ jīvam vaidūraratham
punaḥ saṅkalpena rurodha āśu manasaḥ spandanam yathā

etasmin antare jñaptiḥ punaḥ saṅkalpena āśu vaidūraratham jīvam manasaḥ spandanam yathā rurodha.
1. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Meanwhile, Jñapti quickly restrained Vaidūratha's individual soul (jīva) by her mental resolve (saṅkalpa), just as the pulsation of the mind is checked.
