योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-17, verse-16

तत्तत्याज निमेषेण सान्तःकरणपञ्जरम् ।
स्वदेहं खमिवोड्डीना मुक्तनीडा विहंगमी ॥ १६ ॥
tattatyāja nimeṣeṇa sāntaḥkaraṇapañjaram ,
svadehaṃ khamivoḍḍīnā muktanīḍā vihaṃgamī 16
16. tat tatyāja nimeṣeṇa sa-antaḥkaraṇa-pañjaram |
svadeham kham iva uḍḍīnā mukta-nīḍā vihaṅgamī || 16 ||
16. uḍḍīnā mukta-nīḍā vihaṅgamī iva kham [gacchati] sā
nimeṣeṇa sa-antaḥkaraṇa-pañjaram tat svadeham tatyāja 16
16. She instantly abandoned that body, a cage for the internal organ (antaḥkaraṇa), just like a female bird, freed from its nest, flies into the sky.
