कल्पाग्निभुक्तजगतः कालस्यानुगतिं गतः ।
लोभिलिङ्गो यथा रोगमनर्थानिव दुर्ग्रहः ।
प्रसूतास्तत्र मे दारा दुःखान्यथ सुखान्यपि ॥ ४६ ॥

46. I followed the course of time (kāla), which had consumed the world with the fire of dissolution (kalpāgni). I was marked by greed (lobhiliṅga), just as an evil planet (durgraha) brings about disease and misfortunes. There, my wives (dārā) gave birth to both sorrows and joys.
