योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-107, verse-36

जालैर्जर्जरता नीता दिशश्चासुकृतायुषा ।
तत्रापि दत्तः प्रसरो मनसो दुष्कृतोदये ॥ ३६ ॥
jālairjarjaratā nītā diśaścāsukṛtāyuṣā ,
tatrāpi dattaḥ prasaro manaso duṣkṛtodaye 36

tatra api dattaḥ prasaraḥ manasaḥ duṣkṛta-udaye

36. By nets (of attachments), decrepitude was brought upon me, and the directions (of my life) were also led to ruin by a life of unvirtuous actions (karma). Furthermore, even then, upon the emergence of evil actions (karma), scope was given to the mind.
