योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-107, verse-37

आशा प्रसारिता दूरं प्रावृषीव तरङ्गिणी ।
करभ्या इव सर्पेण विद्रुतं दूरतो धिया ॥ ३७ ॥

karabhyā iva sarpeṇa vidrutaṃ dūrato dhiyā 37

37. Desire was spread far and wide, like a river in the rainy season. The intellect (dhiyā) fled far away, as if a she-camel were to flee from a snake.
