वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-25, verse-14

ततो ऽब्रवीद्दशग्रीवो न शोभनमिदं कृतम् ।
पूजिताः शत्रवो यस्माद्द्रव्यैरिन्द्रपुरोगमाः ॥१४॥
14. tato'bravīddaśagrīvo na śobhanamidaṃ kṛtam ,
pūjitāḥ śatravo yasmāddravyairindrapurogamāḥ.
14. tataḥ abravīt daśagrīvaḥ na śobhanam idam kṛtam
pūjitāḥ śatravaḥ yasmāt dravyaiḥ indrapurogamāḥ
14. tataḥ daśagrīvaḥ abravīt: "idam na śobhanam kṛtam; yasmāt indrapurogamāḥ śatravaḥ dravyaiḥ pūjitāḥ.

14. Then Daśagrīva (Rāvaṇa) said, "This has not been done well, because the enemies, headed by Indra, have been honored with wealth."
