संधाय धनुषि श्रेष्ठे विकर्षन्निदमब्रवीत् ।
लक्ष्मीवांल् लक्ष्मणो वाक्यमर्थसाधकमात्मनः ॥३०॥

30. saṃdhāya dhanuṣi śreṣṭhe vikarṣan idam abravīt
lakṣmīvān lakṣmaṇaḥ vākyam artha-sādhakam ātmanaḥ

30. Having fitted the arrow on the excellent bow, and while drawing it, Lakṣmaṇa, endowed with auspicious marks, uttered these words which would accomplish his purpose (artha) for himself.
