वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-78, verse-12

ते तस्य कायं निर्भिद्य रुक्मपुङ्खा निमित्तगाः ।
बभूवुर्लोहितादिग्धा रक्ता इव महोरगाः ॥१२॥
12. te tasya kāyaṃ nirbhidya rukmapuṅkhā nimittagāḥ ,
babhūvurlohitādigdhā raktā iva mahoragāḥ.
