21. aśvaṃ muktaṃ gajo dṛṣṭvā kaccidbhīto'pasarpati ,
bhīto bhītaṃ gajaṃ dṛṣṭvā kva cidaśvo nivartate.

Sometimes, an elephant, becoming afraid upon seeing a released horse, retreats. And sometimes a horse, itself afraid upon seeing a frightened elephant, turns back.
