44. pitaraṃ mātaraṃ caiva saṃmānyābhiprasādya ca ,

Having honored and duly propitiated his father and mother, and having followed Rama into exile—by him, Sumitra is truly blessed with an excellent son. That righteous soul (dharmātmā), abandoning unequalled happiness, acts with utmost devotion.
