वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-36, verse-26

स दर्भसंस्तराद्गृह्य ब्रह्मणो ऽस्त्रेण योजयः ।
स दीप्त इव कालाग्निर्जज्वालाभिमुखो द्विजम् ॥२६॥
26. sa darbhasaṃstarādgṛhya brahmaṇo'streṇa yojayaḥ ,
sa dīpta iva kālāgnirjajvālābhimukho dvijam.

26. He, taking (a blade of grass) from the kusa grass mat, imbued it with the divine weapon (astra) of Brahmā. Like the blazing fire of universal destruction (kālāgni), he ignited, facing the bird (dvija).
