वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-95, verse-8

तां श्रुत्वा करुणां वाचं पितुर्मरणसंहिताम् ।
राघवो भरतेनोक्तां बभूव गतचेतनः ॥८॥
8. tāṃ śrutvā karuṇāṃ vācaṃ piturmaraṇasaṃhitām ,
rāghavo bharatenoktāṃ babhūva gatacetanaḥ.
8. tām śrutvā karuṇām vācam pituḥ maraṇasaṃhitām
rāghavaḥ bharatena uktām babhūva gatacetanaḥ
