वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-95, verse-14

अहो भरत सिद्धार्थो येन राजा त्वयानघ ।
शत्रुघेण च सर्वेषु प्रेतकृत्येषु सत्कृतः ॥१४॥
14. aho bharata siddhārtho yena rājā tvayānagha ,
śatrugheṇa ca sarveṣu pretakṛtyeṣu satkṛtaḥ.

śatrughṇena ca sarveṣu pretakṛtyeṣu satkṛtaḥ
14. aho anagha bharata,
yena tvayā ca śatrughṇena sarveṣu pretakṛtyeṣu rājā satkṛtaḥ,
(sa tvam) siddhārthaḥ
14. Oh, sinless Bharata, you have indeed accomplished your purpose (siddhārtha), for through you and Shatrughna, the king has been honored in all the funeral rites (pretakṛtya).
