वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-95, verse-12

स तु संज्ञां पुनर्लब्ध्वा नेत्राभ्यामास्रमुत्सृजन् ।
उपाक्रामत काकुत्स्थः कृपणं बहुभाषितुम् ॥१२॥
12. sa tu saṃjñāṃ punarlabdhvā netrābhyāmāsramutsṛjan ,
upākrāmata kākutsthaḥ kṛpaṇaṃ bahubhāṣitum.

utsṛjan upākramata kākutsthaḥ kṛpaṇam bahu bhāṣitum
12. tu saḥ kākutsthaḥ punaḥ saṃjñām labdhvā netrābhyām
āsram utsṛjan kṛpaṇam bahu bhāṣitum upākramata
12. But he, Kakutstha (Rama), having regained consciousness, shedding tears from his eyes, began to speak many pitiful words.
