वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-95, verse-7

प्रियेण किल दत्तं हि पितृलोकेषु राघव ।
अक्षय्यं भवतीत्याहुर्भवांश्चैव पितुः प्रियः ॥७॥
7. priyeṇa kila dattaṃ hi pitṛlokeṣu rāghava ,
akṣayyaṃ bhavatītyāhurbhavāṃścaiva pituḥ priyaḥ.

bhavati iti āhuḥ bhavān ca eva pituḥ priyaḥ
7. rāghava kila priyeṇa dattam hi pitṛlokeṣu akṣayyam
bhavati iti āhuḥ ca eva bhavān pituḥ priyaḥ
7. Indeed, Rāghava, it is said that what is offered by a loved one in the ancestral realms (pitṛloka) becomes imperishable, and you are truly beloved by your father.
