खेटे (kheṭe) - in the context of planets (referring to the preceding instrumental plural adjectives 'tri-alpaiḥ uccasthitaiḥ') (in the planet, in the celestial body)

kheṭa - planet, celestial body, a vagrant
Note: Grammatically, 'kheṭe' (locative singular) does not directly agree with the preceding 'tri-alpaiḥ uccasthitaiḥ' (instrumental plural). It is likely a textual variant, with 'kheṭaiḥ' (instrumental plural) being the expected form to agree with the adjectives and convey 'by three or fewer exalted planets'. Here it's interpreted as a locative absolute to set the context or an elliptical phrasing, effectively meaning 'in the case of planets' or 'if among planets'.
