बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-39, verse-40

दिनार्धाच्च निशार्धाच्च परं सार्धद्विनाडिका ।
शुभा वेला तदुत्पन्नो राजा स्यात्तत्समोऽपि वा ॥४०॥
40. dinārdhācca niśārdhācca paraṃ sārdhadvināḍikā .
śubhā velā tadutpanno rājā syāttatsamo'pi vā.
40. dinārdhāt ca niśārdhāt ca param sārdhadvivināḍikā
śubhā velā tat utpannaḥ rājā syāt tatsamaḥ api vā
40. A period of two and a half nāḍikās (ghaṭikās) immediately following midday and midnight is considered auspicious. A person born during such a time will become a king or someone equivalent to a king.
