महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-4, verse-18

यदा च द्रौपदी कृष्णा मद्विनाशाय दुःखिता ।
उग्रं तेपे तपः कृष्णा भर्तॄणामर्थसिद्धये ।
स्थण्डिले नित्यदा शेते यावद्वैरस्य यातना ॥१८॥
18. yadā ca draupadī kṛṣṇā madvināśāya duḥkhitā ,
ugraṁ tepe tapaḥ kṛṣṇā bhartṝṇāmarthasiddhaye ,
sthaṇḍile nityadā śete yāvadvairasya yātanā.

18. And when Draupadī Kṛṣṇā, anguished over my impending destruction, performed severe asceticism (tapas) for the accomplishment of her husbands' aims. She continuously sleeps on the bare ground as long as the torment of enmity (vaira) persists.
