महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-37, verse-37

ततो देवो मुनिं दृष्ट्वा हर्षाविष्टमतीव ह ।
सुराणां हितकामार्थं महादेवोऽभ्यभाषत ॥३७॥
37. tato devo muniṁ dṛṣṭvā harṣāviṣṭamatīva ha ,
surāṇāṁ hitakāmārthaṁ mahādevo'bhyabhāṣata.
37. tataḥ devaḥ munim dṛṣṭvā harṣāviṣṭam atīva ha
surāṇām hitakāmārtham mahādevaḥ abhyabhāṣata
37. tataḥ,
devaḥ mahādevaḥ munim harṣāviṣṭam atīva ha dṛṣṭvā,
surāṇām hitakāmārtham abhyabhāṣata
37. Then, Mahādeva, having indeed seen the sage (muni) who was exceedingly filled with joy, spoke for the sake of the welfare of the gods.
