The divine (bhagavatī) and pure-watered Sarasvatī, having been invited by Dakṣa who was performing Vedic rituals (yajña) at Gaṅgādvāra, and again by Brahmā who was also performing Vedic rituals, went there, to the sacred Himālaya mountain.
