महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-37, verse-12

तच्छ्रुत्वा भगवान्प्रीतः सस्माराथ सरस्वतीम् ।
पितामहेन यजता आहूता पुष्करेषु वै ।
सुप्रभा नाम राजेन्द्र नाम्ना तत्र सरस्वती ॥१२॥
12. tacchrutvā bhagavānprītaḥ sasmārātha sarasvatīm ,
pitāmahena yajatā āhūtā puṣkareṣu vai ,
suprabhā nāma rājendra nāmnā tatra sarasvatī.
12. tat śrutvā bhagavān prītaḥ sasmāra
atha sarasvatīm pitāmahena yajatā
āhūtā puṣkareṣu vai suprabhā
nāma rājendra nāmnā tatra sarasvatī

12. Having heard that, the revered lord (Bhagavān) was pleased and then remembered Sarasvatī. She had been invoked in Puṣkara by the grandfather (Brahmā) during his performance of a Vedic ritual (yajña). O best of kings, that Sarasvatī there was indeed known by the name Suprabhā.
