महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-27, verse-38

तामापतन्तीं सहसा शरैः काञ्चनभूषणैः ।
त्रिधा चिच्छेद समरे सहदेवो हसन्निव ॥३८॥
38. tāmāpatantīṁ sahasā śaraiḥ kāñcanabhūṣaṇaiḥ ,
tridhā ciccheda samare sahadevo hasanniva.

38. Sahadeva, as if laughing, suddenly cut that descending spear (śakti) into three pieces with his gold-adorned arrows in battle.
