महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-27, verse-37

ततः शक्तिं महाघोरां कालरात्रिमिवोद्यताम् ।
प्रेषयामास संक्रुद्धः पाण्डवं प्रति सौबलः ॥३७॥
37. tataḥ śaktiṁ mahāghorāṁ kālarātrimivodyatām ,
preṣayāmāsa saṁkruddhaḥ pāṇḍavaṁ prati saubalaḥ.

37. Then, greatly enraged, Śakuni, son of Subala, sent forth a very terrible spear (śakti) towards the Pāṇḍava, Sahadeva, like the upraised Night of Dissolution (Kālarātri).
