महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-96, verse-49

तयोः समभवद्युद्धं वृत्रवासवयोरिव ।
ददृशुस्तावकाः सर्वे पाण्डवाश्च महारथाः ॥४९॥
49. tayoḥ samabhavadyuddhaṁ vṛtravāsavayoriva ,
dadṛśustāvakāḥ sarve pāṇḍavāśca mahārathāḥ.
49. tayoḥ samabhavat yuddham vṛtra-vāsavayoḥ iva
| dadṛśuḥ tāvakāḥ sarve pāṇḍavāḥ ca mahārathāḥ
49. tayoḥ vṛtra-vāsavayoḥ iva yuddham samabhavat
tāvakāḥ sarve ca pāṇḍavāḥ mahārathāḥ dadṛśuḥ
49. A battle ensued between them, like that between Vṛtra and Vāsava (Indra). All your warriors and the Pāṇḍavas, the great charioteers, witnessed it.
