महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-13, verse-4

गौरस्तु मध्यमे द्वीपे गिरिर्मानःशिलो महान् ।
पर्वतः पश्चिमः कृष्णो नारायणनिभो नृप ॥४॥
4. gaurastu madhyame dvīpe girirmānaḥśilo mahān ,
parvataḥ paścimaḥ kṛṣṇo nārāyaṇanibho nṛpa.
4. gauraḥ tu madhyame dvīpe giriḥ mānaḥśilaḥ mahān
| parvataḥ paścimaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ nārāyaṇanibhaḥ nṛpa
4. nṛpa! tu madhyame dvīpe gauraḥ mahān mānaḥśilaḥ giriḥ
(asti) paścimaḥ parvataḥ kṛṣṇaḥ nārāyaṇanibhaḥ (asti)
4. O king (nṛpa), but in the central continent (dvīpe) is the great Gaura mountain, Mānashila. The western mountain (parvataḥ) is Kṛṣṇa, which resembles Nārāyaṇa.
