महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-13, verse-29

ईश्वरो दण्डमुद्यम्य स्वयमेव प्रजापतिः ।
द्वीपानेतान्महाराज रक्षंस्तिष्ठति नित्यदा ॥२९॥
29. īśvaro daṇḍamudyamya svayameva prajāpatiḥ ,
dvīpānetānmahārāja rakṣaṁstiṣṭhati nityadā.
29. īśvaraḥ daṇḍam udyamya svayam eva prajāpatiḥ
dvīpān etān mahārāja rakṣan tiṣṭhati nityadā
29. mahārāja,
īśvaraḥ svayam eva prajāpatiḥ daṇḍam udyamya,
etān dvīpān rakṣan nityadā tiṣṭhati.
29. O great king (mahārāja), the Lord (īśvara) Himself, the Creator (prajāpati), wielding His authority (daṇḍa), always stands protecting these islands (dvīpa).
