आमन्त्र्य गच्छामि शिवं सुखं वः सौम्येन मां पश्यत चक्षुषा नृपाः ॥२॥

Bidding farewell (āmantrya) to Janārdana, Bhīmasena and Arjuna, the two sons of Mādrī (mādrīsutau), Sātyaki, and Cekitāna, I depart. May there be well-being (śivam) and happiness (sukham) for you all. O kings (nṛpāḥ), look upon me with a gentle (saumyena) eye (cakṣuṣā).
