संजय उवाच ।
आमन्त्रये त्वा नरदेवदेव गच्छाम्यहं पाण्डव स्वस्ति तेऽस्तु ।
कच्चिन्न वाचा वृजिनं हि किंचिदुच्चारितं मे मनसोऽभिषङ्गात् ॥१॥

Sañjaya said: O lord of kings (naradevadeva), I bid you farewell (āmantraye). I am departing, O Pāṇḍava. May there be well-being (svasti) for you. I hope indeed no wrong (vṛjinam) was spoken by me through my words (vācā) due to any emotional bias (manaso'bhiṣaṅgāt).
