महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-200, verse-36

ततः कर्म समादत्ते पुनरन्यन्नवं बहु ।
पच्यते तु पुनस्तेन भुक्त्वापथ्यमिवातुरः ॥३६॥

36. tataḥ karma samādatte punaranyannavaṁ bahu ,
pacyate tu punastena bhuktvāpathyamivāturaḥ.

36. tataḥ karma samādatte punaḥ anyat navaṃ bahu
pacyate tu punaḥ tena bhuktvā apathyaṃ iva āturaḥ

36. Thereupon, one again accumulates many other new actions (karma). Then, indeed, one is tormented by that (karma) again, just as a sick person is tormented after eating unwholesome food.
