महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-200, verse-34

तिर्यग्योनिसहस्राणि गत्वा नरकमेव च ।
जीवाः संपरिवर्तन्ते कर्मबन्धनिबन्धनाः ॥३४॥

jīvāḥ saṁparivartante karmabandhanibandhanāḥ.
