महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-176, verse-28

पश्य दैवोपघाताद्धि भुजवीर्यव्यपाश्रयम् ।
इमामवस्थां संप्राप्तमनिमित्तमिहाद्य माम् ॥२८॥
28. paśya daivopaghātāddhi bhujavīryavyapāśrayam ,
imāmavasthāṁ saṁprāptamanimittamihādya mām.
28. paśya daivopaghātāt hi bhujavīryavyapāśrayam
imām avasthām samprāptam animittam iha adya mām
28. Behold, it is because of the damage inflicted by fate (daiva) that I, who relied on the strength of my arms, have today reached this state of helplessness here, for no apparent reason.
