महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-176, verse-26

यस्मादभावी भावी वा मनुष्यः सुखदुःखयोः ।
आगमे यदि वापाये न तत्र ग्लपयेन्मनः ॥२६॥
26. yasmādabhāvī bhāvī vā manuṣyaḥ sukhaduḥkhayoḥ ,
āgame yadi vāpāye na tatra glapayenmanaḥ.

āgame yadi vā apāye na tatra glapayeta manaḥ
26. Because a person is bound to experience happiness or sorrow, whether it comes or goes, one should not distress one's mind (manas) over it.
