महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-19, verse-38

न स्नातकव्रता विप्रा बहिर्माल्यानुलेपनाः ।
भवन्तीति नृलोकेऽस्मिन्विदितं मम सर्वशः ॥३८॥
38. na snātakavratā viprā bahirmālyānulepanāḥ ,
bhavantīti nṛloke'sminviditaṁ mama sarvaśaḥ.
38. na snātaka-vratāḥ viprāḥ bahiḥ-mālya-anulepanāḥ |
bhavanti iti nṛ-loke asmin viditam mama sarvaśaḥ
