महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-47, verse-26

एवमेतत्समुद्दिष्टं धर्मेषु भरतर्षभ ।
एतद्धर्ममनुस्मृत्य न वृथा साधयेद्धनम् ॥२६॥
26. evametatsamuddiṣṭaṁ dharmeṣu bharatarṣabha ,
etaddharmamanusmṛtya na vṛthā sādhayeddhanam.

etat dharmam anusmṛtya na vṛthā sādhayet dhanam

26. O best of the Bhāratas, this has thus been declared among the principles of natural law (dharma). Remembering this natural law (dharma), one should not acquire wealth improperly.
