महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-130, verse-54

वीराध्वानमना नित्यं वीरासनरतस्तथा ।
वीरस्थायी च सततं स वीरगतिमाप्नुयात् ॥५४॥
54. vīrādhvānamanā nityaṁ vīrāsanaratastathā ,
vīrasthāyī ca satataṁ sa vīragatimāpnuyāt.
54. vīrādhvānamanā nityam vīrāsanarataḥ tathā |
vīrasthāyī ca satatam saḥ vīragatim āpnuyāt
54. saḥ nityam vīrādhvānamanā,
tathā vīrāsanarataḥ ca satatam vīrasthāyī,

54. He whose mind is constantly set on the heroic path, who is likewise devoted to the hero's posture (vīrāsana), and who always remains steadfast like a hero, truly attains a hero's destiny.
