महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-130, verse-25

ये च दंपतिधर्माणः स्वदारनियतेन्द्रियाः ।
चरन्ति विधिदृष्टं तदृतुकालाभिगामिनः ॥२५॥
25. ye ca daṁpatidharmāṇaḥ svadāraniyatendriyāḥ ,
caranti vidhidṛṣṭaṁ tadṛtukālābhigāminaḥ.
25. ye ca dampatidharmāṇaḥ svadāraniyatedriyāḥ
caranti vidhidṛṣṭam tat ṛtukālābhigāminaḥ
25. ye ca dampatidharmāṇaḥ svadāraniyatedriyāḥ
ṛtukālābhigāminaḥ tat vidhidṛṣṭam caranti
25. And those who adhere to the duties (dharma) of a married couple, whose senses are restrained with respect to their own wives, and who approach them according to the times prescribed by sacred law (ritu-kāla)—they observe this.
