महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-130, verse-40

शष्पं मृगमुखोत्सृष्टं यो मृगैः सह सेवते ।
दीक्षितो वै मुदा युक्तः स गच्छत्यमरावतीम् ॥४०॥
40. śaṣpaṁ mṛgamukhotsṛṣṭaṁ yo mṛgaiḥ saha sevate ,
dīkṣito vai mudā yuktaḥ sa gacchatyamarāvatīm.
40. śaṣpam mṛgamukha-utsṛṣṭam yaḥ mṛgaiḥ saha sevate
dīkṣitaḥ vai mudā yuktaḥ saḥ gacchati amarāvatīm
40. yaḥ dīkṣitaḥ vai mudā yuktaḥ mṛgaiḥ saha
mṛgamukha-utsṛṣṭam śaṣpam sevate saḥ amarāvatīm gacchati
40. Indeed, he who is initiated (dīkṣitaḥ) and filled with joy, and partakes of the grass left by the mouths of deer along with the deer, he goes to Amaravati.
