महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-39, verse-40

छन्द्यमानो वरेणाथ ब्रह्मणा स पुनः पुनः ।
अभयं सर्वभूतेभ्यो वरयामास भारत ॥४०॥
40. chandyamāno vareṇātha brahmaṇā sa punaḥ punaḥ ,
abhayaṁ sarvabhūtebhyo varayāmāsa bhārata.
