महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-39, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
प्रवेशने तु पार्थानां जनस्य पुरवासिनः ।
दिदृक्षूणां सहस्राणि समाजग्मुर्बहून्यथ ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
praveśane tu pārthānāṁ janasya puravāsinaḥ ,
didṛkṣūṇāṁ sahasrāṇi samājagmurbahūnyatha.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: Then, indeed, at the Pārthas' entry, many thousands of city residents, eager to see them, assembled.
