महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-39, verse-11

भव नस्त्वं महाराज राजेह शरदां शतम् ।
प्रजाः पालय धर्मेण यथेन्द्रस्त्रिदिवं नृप ॥११॥
11. bhava nastvaṁ mahārāja rājeha śaradāṁ śatam ,
prajāḥ pālaya dharmeṇa yathendrastridivaṁ nṛpa.
11. bhava naḥ tvam mahārāja rāja iha śaradām śatam
prajāḥ pālaya dharmeṇa yathā indraḥ tridivam nṛpa
11. tvam mahārāja rāja nṛpa iha naḥ śatam śaradām
bhava prajāḥ dharmeṇa pālaya yathā indraḥ tridivam
11. O Great King, may you be our ruler here for a hundred years. Protect the subjects according to natural law (dharma), just as Indra rules heaven, O King.
