महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-39, verse-22

निःशब्दे च स्थिते तत्र ततो विप्रजने पुनः ।
राजानं ब्राह्मणच्छद्मा चार्वाको राक्षसोऽब्रवीत् ॥२२॥
22. niḥśabde ca sthite tatra tato viprajane punaḥ ,
rājānaṁ brāhmaṇacchadmā cārvāko rākṣaso'bravīt.

22. And when silence fell there, then again, among the assembly of Brahmins (viprajane), the demon (rākṣasaḥ) Chārvāka, disguised as a Brahmin, addressed the King.
