इत्येवमाज्ञाय विदेहराजो वाक्यं समग्रं परिपूर्णहेतुः ।
अश्मानमामन्त्र्य विशुद्धबुद्धिर्ययौ गृहं स्वं प्रति शान्तशोकः ॥५७॥

Vyasa said: Having thus understood the entire statement, which was full of complete reasoning, the king of Videha, Janaka, whose intellect was purified, addressed Aśman, and with his sorrow appeased, he returned to his own home.
