वैशंपायन उवाच ।

Vaiśampāyana said: Vyāsa dispelled the grief of the eldest son of Pāṇḍu (Yudhiṣṭhira), who was tormented by sorrow for his kinsmen and desired to give up his life (prāṇāḥ).
