महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-162, verse-48

अधनोऽस्मि द्विजश्रेष्ठ न च वेदविदप्यहम् ।
वृत्त्यर्थमिह संप्राप्तं विद्धि मां द्विजसत्तम ॥४८॥
48. adhano'smi dvijaśreṣṭha na ca vedavidapyaham ,
vṛttyarthamiha saṁprāptaṁ viddhi māṁ dvijasattama.
