महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-162, verse-3

न हि तत्र धनं स्फीतं न च संबन्धिबान्धवाः ।
तिष्ठन्ति यत्र सुहृदस्तिष्ठन्तीति मतिर्मम ॥३॥

3. Indeed, neither abundant wealth nor relatives and kinsmen truly remain there. My conviction is that true friends (alone) do remain there.
