ईदृशैः पुरुषश्रेष्ठैः संधिं यः कुरुते नृपः ।
तस्य विस्तीर्यते राष्ट्रं ज्योत्स्ना ग्रहपतेरिव ॥२४॥

24. yaḥ nṛpaḥ īdṛśaiḥ puruṣaśreṣṭhaiḥ sandhim kurute,

24. The king (nṛpaḥ) who forms an alliance (sandhi) with such excellent men (puruṣaśreṣṭhaiḥ) finds his kingdom expanding, just as moonlight spreads from the moon.
