महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-162, verse-28

भीष्म उवाच ।
हन्त ते वर्तयिष्येऽहमितिहासं पुरातनम् ।
उदीच्यां दिशि यद्वृत्तं म्लेच्छेषु मनुजाधिप ॥२८॥
28. bhīṣma uvāca ,
hanta te vartayiṣye'hamitihāsaṁ purātanam ,
udīcyāṁ diśi yadvṛttaṁ mleccheṣu manujādhipa.

purātanam udīcyām diśi yat vṛttam mlecceṣu manujādhipa

28. Bhīṣma said: Well then, O lord of men, I shall relate to you an ancient tale that took place in the northern region among the Mlecchas.
